Rev. Julie A Lewis is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. She was appointed to Asbury United Methodist Church as of July 1, 2019. In ministry since July 1, 2007, Asbury is her third appointment in the Penninsula-Delaware Annual Conference. She holds two Bachelors of Science degrees from Salisbury University: in Respiratory Care and Biology. She worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for many years and taught high school science in Sussex County, Delaware for 6 years before entering the ministry. She is a Master of Divinity graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.; graduating in May 2013. Pastor Julie was ordained as a Full Methodist Elder in June 2015.

Pastor Julie loves God and endeavors to share the love of God with all people. She is passionate about the Word of God and sharing that Word in worship, in teaching and building relationships with all who want to know about the deep, unconditional love of God that is especially seen in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. She believes in relational evangelism; showing the love of God through all her relationships and encouraging people to become disciples of Jesus Christ. And why do we do that? For the transformation of the world, of course! Love God, love people. Change the world in the name of Christ!
