Introducing Amy Brown to Asbury United Methodist Church as our New Choir Director!
Amy Brown officially joined the Asbury UMC family on January 1, 2023 and will be serving as our new Choir Director!
Amy is excited to join the Music Ministry at Asbury UMC. Amy has been playing for churches since her teen years. She studied music at the University of Montana and has worked in various areas of music, thanks to her time spent as an Air Force wife. Amy has taught school music, private piano, music directed/played keyboards for musical theater, accompanied choirs, and has served as choir director, handbell choir director, organist, and pianist at churches.
Amy has two children, and enjoys being a “hands on” Grandma to her two grandsons. She is a kidney transplant recipient, and is an advocate for blood and organ donation.
