11 am Music Teams
Choir:
The Chancel Choir sings at the 11am service September through May. Choir rehearses at 6 pm in the sanctuary, and everyone is welcome. It is not necessary to be able to read music. The only requirement is a love to sing God’s praises!
Music Ministry:
Music is a vital part of the faith journey at Asbury UMC. The Praise Team, under the leadership of Grayson Isaacs, provides worship music at the 9am service. The music at the 11am service is provided by the organ, choir, and handbells.

Praise Band:
Greetings and Welcome to Asbury United Methodist Church!!
We are the praise band that plays at the 9AM Contemporary Worship service. We aim to provide an atmosphere that is conducive for worship and praising our Lord, but in the modern setting. We play all of the new music you hear on the radio, but can play the great hymns. We look forward to having you worship and sing with us.
Did we mention that we are looking for volunteer musicians? We are accepting auditions for the following instruments:
-Bass
-Lead Guitar
-Male Vocal
-Female Vocal 2
For the instruments, you should have a good sense of reading music and be able to prepare music every week. You should also be able to sight-read some pieces that have not been prepared.
