Asbury UMC is working to enhance and grow its prayer ministry.  Each Wednesday a post will be made to the Asbury Facebook page inviting persons to share their prayer request and pray for the needs mentioned in the post.  Please “friend” the Asbury Facebook page @AsburyUMCSmyrna and share the weekly post on your page and encourage your friends to do the same.

Travelers keep up with regular offerings by giving electronically

Just as you rely upon receiving income on a regular basis, Asbury UMC relies on your regular contributions. Asbury appreciates the efforts of congregation members to make consistent donations throughout the year—especially during popular winter and summer travel periods. To assist you, the church provides a convenient electronic giving option for setting up regular contributions. Please contact the church office for details.

Winter/Spring Small Group Studies

Six week Bible Study entitled Goliath Must Fall.

Many of us have giants in our lives–hang-ups and habits, fears and insecurities that keep us from reaching our full potential. Frozen, we lose sight of the promise God has for our lives and settle for far less than best. But there is a better way forward. In Goliath Must Fall, Louie Giglio offers powerful insights from the Biblical story of David that will help you overcome your giants once and for all by fixing your eyes on the size of your God, not the size of your giant.  The study will begin April 25 and continue each Wednesday through May 30.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate.  For more information, call the church office or look at our Facebook page.

Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study
All of the women of the church and community are invited to attend the Women’s Monday Morning Bible Study which meets every Monday from 10:30 am to 12 noon.
